Scope

Building Trust, Resilience, and Intelligence in the Cyber-Forensic Era

IDFC 2027 is where researchers, practitioners, and policymakers come together to make sense of a fast-changing digital world. As generative AI, IoT, blockchain, and the cloud reshape how we work and live, the lines between cybersecurity and digital forensics keep blurring — and that is exactly where this conference lives.

We are interested in the hard problems: how do we prevent cybercrime, handle digital evidence responsibly, and preserve trust when the tools and threats evolve faster than the rules? We welcome new methods, tools, case studies, and honest conversations about what is working, what is not, and what is coming next across malware analysis, incident response, network and cloud forensics, AI security, and threat intelligence.

The conference welcomes research spanning digital forensics and incident response, cybersecurity and cyber defense, trustworthy and generative AI, and applied AI across domains. If your work touches synthetic media, deepfakes, AI-driven investigations, blockchain and IoT security, or any frontier where intelligent systems meet real-world consequences of trust, integrity, security, or verifiability, we want to hear from you.

Short Papers
4-6 pages

Promising early results, position papers, negative results with analysis, or replication studies.

Demo & Artifact Papers
4-6 pages

Live demonstrations of working forensic tools, prototypes, or security systems, and reproducible code, datasets, or benchmarks accompanying a contribution.

Poster Papers
1-2 pages

Concise summaries of ongoing work, preliminary findings, or position statements.
